My name is Barry Milner and I am a composer specializing in educational music with an interest in scoring for film and television. I write modern orchestral, concert band, marching band, ambient & film scores . My music tends to sound like Thomas Newman crossed with John Williams. My music is unique in the fact that I try to combine elements from Thomas Newman, John Williams, Howard Shore, Alan Silvestri and James Horner. I would like to try to convey in my music a story/feeling/idea through melody, harmony and orchestration and hopefully causes the listener to reflect, inspire and touches their emotions in some way.
